『この世界の片隅に』は、刺激的で動きの激しいアニメーションの多い中、日常動作に動きの美しさを見出している点で特筆すべき作品と思われる。肩に掛かる荷物の重さや、持ち上げる時の動作のように、日常の当たり前の、普通ならば何気なく見過ごしてしまうものに、その動作を行う個人の人格の表れを見せてくれている。そうした人格を持つ個人が、実は数多く存在し、日常のこまごまとしたことに、ささやかな喜びを見出している。食事の用意から近所付き合いなど、日常がごく平凡に過ぎてゆくことが大事なのだと教えてくれる。この教えが切実なものと感じられるのは、背後に戦争という現実があるからでもある。しかし翻ってみると、われわれの周辺には、大きな災害がいきなり襲い掛かってくることもある。『この世界の片隅に』の描いている現実は決して遠い過去のことではなく、まさに今の日本にもあり、かえってより切実となっているとも言えるのであろう。本作は、以下のように様々な分野の研究者などによる考察ないし議論の対象となっている。1944年（昭和19年）2月、18歳のすずは広島から軍港のある呉の北條家に嫁ぐ。戦時下、物資が徐々に不足する不自由さの中、すずは持ち前の性格で明るく日常を乗り切っていたが、翌年の空襲によって大切なものを失う。広島への原子爆弾投下、終戦。それでもすずは自分の居場所を呉と決め、生きていく。 ^^ The lesson fee includes free flow wines and some snacks, but you can also bring your own (which is what I did)!The philosophy of Artbar is "0% Judgement.
